1. Your information is private

Our site's registration requires users to provide us with their contact information such as email, address, date of birth etc; we also ask for optional information such as zip code, age, or income level etc (Demographic Data). We use the customer contact information from the registration form to send the users communications from our web site. We will never share customer contact information with any third parties, unless the user authorizes us to do so. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the user when necessary. Users may choose to not receivie any future mailings by changing their privacy preferences (procedure provided in the settings section below). We use demographic and profile data for other purposes including: tailoring the user's experience at our site by showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences. We also use the data collected to display relevant advertisements to the user. You can always choose to remove yourself from any of the settings. Please contact us if you have any problems in changing your settings or if you fear your email address was abused. Note that your private information may be given out in response to any police-type investigation, subpoena, or other request pending a lawsuit or legal action etc.

Any information you share in RealNexus can only be seen by your "network"; members that belong to your group and/or have been invited by you and included into your group.

No one outside your network has access to your information, unless you opt to share it with them.

2. Scope of information

Your profile on RealNexus.com will not contain your name, email address, IP address, real world address (other than city, state, country), or password. It may reveal other information about you that you chose to display. Be sure to view your own profile to make sure you are only displaying the information you desire to be displayed.

Information among immediate members has not been restricted since one of the objectives of RealNexus is to become familiar with the people who belong to your groups. Anyone outside your network will not have access to your information (unless you make it available).

3. Groups

If your network is very extensive and you do not want to be informed about everything that happens in it, you can create multiple groups selecting the people that you want to hear about.

4. Data custody

RealNexus agrees not to sell your information to any third party company, nor to use your information for any action unrelated to the actual site.

5. Setting privacy preferences

You can change your privacy preference by going to settings.

We look forward to adding new options based on the suggestions of RealNexus's users. One of our goals is to offer everyone an environment in which they feel comfortable and safe.

6. IP Address

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our website, and for locally targeted ads. Your IP address is used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information.

7. Public Forums

This site makes chat rooms, forums, blogs, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. Search engines may also crawl and index our forums.

8. Links

RealNexus contains links to external sites. RealNexus.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our privacy policy only governs information collected and available on RealNexus.com.
